Yates on Yates and Vivid

Since 2005 Chard Developments has been one of Victoria’s most prolific and successful builders of condominium homes and rental suites. Versatech has been a proud partner on many of their developments, most recently the “Yates on Yates” featuring 126 market value condominiums, and the “Vivid”, a first-of-its-kind attainable homeownership opportunity providing 135 downtown Victoria homes offered below market value through a partnership with BC Housing.

The project is constructed as two 20-storey towers over a shared underground structure which includes parking, bike lockups and storage areas. Being in the heart of downtown the building had complex security challenges including a requirement by the city that public parking spaces be included within the building. By working with Chard from the design phase forward we were able to provide security solutions including access control, entryphone panels, and an extensive video surveillance system to meet these challenges.
