Knowledge Base
My philosophy as the owner of Versatech Systems has always been to treat our customers fairly, be open and honest, and share our knowledge to help clients be better informed before investing in security technology.
Over the 40 years I’ve served in the local security industry I’ve seen a lot of changes, some positive, and others…not so much. On the positive side, technology has completely transformed our industry and created capabilities that we couldn’t dream of in a time before PCs, high-speed internet, and mobile communications were part our daily lives. On the negative side, growth in our industry has seen many small companies who offered personalized customer service replaced by massive corporations who promise the world, but deliver very little.
I believe in the expression “be the change you want to see in the world”, and that’s what we strive for everyday. We are deeply frustrated by the proliferation of dishonest advertising, poor customer service, and generally being treated with disdain by the large multi-national corporations who dominate more and more of our lives. We’re here to offer an alternative - one local business to another.
The cultivation of a better world starts with education. We can’t make good choices without good information. I hope this blog and our website will be helpful as you strive to educate yourself on current security technology and the service providers available to you. When time allows I’ll use this space to share our knowledge, let you know about changes in technology and the industry, and help you decide if investing in security technology is the right choice for your business. If there’s a topic you’re interested in send us an email and if we have helpful insights we’ll share them in a future blog post.
Thank you for visiting our site and supporting local business.
